All things dance appearing at E-Motional Festival in Bucharest, 30 international artists to perform

E-Motional Festival: moving bodies & cities, the closing event of the E-Motional Bodies & Cities program, is taking place in Bucharest between April 12 and April 14 at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC) and at ZonaD – Serial Paradise studio.

The festival will host video and photo installations connected to the project, contemporary dance performances from Romania, Latvia, Cyprus and Turkey, together with two international co-productions of the project presented as premieres. There will also be two roundtables dedicated to European projects and artistic collaboration at an international level.

The event unites over 30 artists and dance professionals participating in the program, such as Mircea Ghinea, Madalina Dan, Mihaela Dancs, Vlaicu Golcea, Farid Fairuz and Bogdana Pascal from Romania, Laura Murphy, Fearghus Ó Conchúir, Mary Wycherley from Ireland, Kaspars Lielgalvis, Olga Zitluhina, Sintija Silina, Katrina Albuze, Kristine Vismane and Roberts Muciņš from Latvia and Gemma Riggs, Luke Pell from UK. The E-Motional Festival: moving bodies & cities event also include artists and programmers from the project countries, as well as from Portugal, USA and Japan. Find out more about the festival here.
