One of the world’s most acclaimed jazz artists comes to Romania next week

Joshua Redman, one of the world’s most acclaimed jazz artists, will perform in Romania next week.

He will play in Bucharest in the trio formula, together with Joe Sanders on double bass and Gregory Hutchinson on drums. The concert will take place on March 24, 20:00, at Sala Radio in Romania’s capital.

Joshua Redman was born in Berkeley, California, and is the son of legendary saxophonist Dewey Redman and dancer Renee Shedroff. He started playing clarinet at age nine and then switched to what became his primary instrument, the tenor saxophone, one year later. 

He won the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition in 1991, and has been nominated for two Grammys. Read more about him here.

Joshua Redman, one of the world’s most acclaimed jazz artists, will perform in Romania next week.
