The turnover in the trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 6.1% in the first four months of the year in Romania. The increase in car sales and repair services generated the turnover growth, according to the National Institute of Statistics.

The motor vehicles trade went up by 14.7%, whereas the car repair and maintenance sector increased by 6.8%. The trade with car parts and car accessories was 4.1% smaller.

The trade with motorcycles, motorcycle parts and specific accessories rose by 3.6%.
