SOCAR to open 12 new fuel stations in Romania by end-2015

Azeri state-owned oil company SOCAR, which currently runs 30 fuel stations in Romania, said it will open two more units this year and another ten next year. “SOCAR will open two more fuel stations in Romania this year, in Sibiu and Bistrita, for which construction is underway.

Ten other projects are in various stages, from negotiating land purchases to getting building permits, and these will become reality next year,” said Hamza Karimov, CEO of SOCAR Romania, according to Wall-Street.ro. He added that the company is currently bringing the fuel from partner refineries outside Romania.
