Romanian women’s epee team got the second place at the World Cup competition in Legnano over the weekend, after being defeated by Estonia in the final, with a score of 33-29.

Romania’s team, consisting of Ana-Maria Brânză, Simona Gherman, Simona Pop and Maria Udrea, defeated Ukraine in the quarterfinals with 45-36 and then beat Italy in the semifinals with 25-24.

The bronze was won by Italy, after it defeated France with a score of 27-26.
