Bucharest electronic music festival postponed to 2021

24 July 2020

The first edition of SAGA, a new electronic music festival in Bucharest, has been postponed to June 4-6, 2021, given the restrictions introduced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

“It was not easy to make this decision, but the organizers are optimistic that the debut of the largest electronic music festival in Bucharest will take place safely in 2021, in Izvor Park,” reads the press release.

The organizers also said that the festival’s 2021 lineup would be slightly different from the one initially announced, adding that “participants will be able to see some of the most famous artists in the world.”

All 2020 passes will be valid for the 2021 edition. Current ticket holders will receive an email with further instructions to request a refund or to use their ticket next year, the SAGA team announced on Facebook.

SAGA is the result of the collaboration between the organizers ALDA (AMF) and Insomniac (EDC).
