Romania’s AdePlast opens EUR 3.2 mln paint factory in Ploiesti

Romanian construction materials producer AdePlast, owned by businessman Marcel Barbut, has recently inaugurated a EUR 3.2 million paint and decorative mortars factory in Ploiesti, southern Romania, reads a statement of the company. Following this investment, AdePlast completed the EUR 23 million investment program started last year.

The factory in Ploiesti has a total production capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year and will serve customers in the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine and the Arab countries.

“The paint division currently accounts for 9 percent of the company’s total business, and in June reached the level of sales we achieved throughout 2012,” said Bogdan Pirvu, manager of AdePlast’s paint division.

In June this year, the company opened a new polystyrene factory in the city of Roman, Romania, following an investment of EUR 3.7 million, while in May it opened a EUR 3.2 million polystyrene factory in Oradea.

AdePlast is owned by Romanian investor Marcel Barbut and was founded in Oradea, in 1994.

Romanian construction materials producer AdePlast, owned by businessman Marcel Barbut, has recently inaugurated a EUR 3.2 million paint and decorative mortars factory in Ploiesti, southern Romania, reads a statement of the company. Following this investment, AdePlast completed the EUR 23 million investment program started last year.

The factory in Ploiesti has a total production capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year and will serve customers in the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine and the Arab countries.

In June this year, the company opened a new polystyrene factory in the city of Roman, Romania, following an investment of EUR 3.7 million, while in May it opened a EUR 3.2 million polystyrene factory in Oradea.

AdePlast is owned by Romanian investor Marcel Barbut and was founded in Oradea, in 1994.
