Romanian water company seaches for bids on EUR 6.2 mln water treatment work contract

Romanian water company Aquacaras is looking for bids to carry work on water treatment facilities in Western Romania, according to SeeNews, which quotes the European Procurement Journal. The contract is worth over EUR 6.2 million and involves construction and upgrade work at three sewage plants in the area south east of Timisoara.

The deadline for bids is February 28 and the contract is for a 32 month period.

The three water treatment plants – Otelu Rosu, Moldova Noua and Baile Herculane - are in the Caraș-Severin county, which lies next to Timisoara county and also has a border with Serbia. The main city in the area is industrial center Reşiţa.
