Romanian private healthcare operator ups turnover by 12%

Romanian private healthcare operator Gral Medical posted a turnover of EUR 12 million in the first half of the year, up by 12% compared to the same period last year.

The revenues of one of its hospitals, OncoFort, rose by 30%, due to the development of the radiotherapy and surgical oncology departments. The centers outside Bucharest saw a 35% increase in their revenues compared to the first half of 2014.

The company has estimated a turnover of EUR 25.1 million and investments of EUR 5.5 million for this year.

At the beginning of the year, the operator opened two new clinics in Bucharest and Ploiesti. Gral also plans to open a new radiotherapy department and other centers in the country in the coming period.
