The Romanian Post recorded a profit of EUR 4.16 million in the first four months of the year. Its revenues increased by 3.1% in this period compared to the first four months of 2014, reaching EUR 87 million.

Its expenditure increased by EUR 3.7 million, due to the increase in salaries at the end of 2014.

The company saw a net profit of EUR 5 million last year, after five year of losses.

The revenues from letter mailing continue to go down, but the contracts with various operators for money transfer or health cards distribution brought the company significant revenues.

The Romanian Post wants to enter the e-commerce and insurance segments, and work more with retail and banking groups.
