Romanian Police finds 12 kg of cannabis imported from Germany, the Netherlands

Police officers and anti-organized crime prosecutors found almost 12 kilograms of cannabis, 169 grams of ketamine and over 100 tablets of ecstasy in Vaslui, Eastern Romania.

The drugs apparently originated in Germany and the Netherlands and were intended for sale on the local market, more specifically in Iasi, local Mediafax reported.

A 37-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were detained for 24 hours, and then preventively arrested for 30 days with Court’s consent. The two are being investigated for trafficking and for introducing high-risk and high risk drugs in the country.
