Romanian parcel distribution company Sameday Courier upped its turnover by 50% in 2014, to some EUR 1.7 million, the profit rate being estimated at 10%, according to a statement of the company.

Instant deliveries (made within an hour), same-day deliveries, the food delivery division and postal services have led to this increase. The growth was constant throughout 2014, but was also influenced by Easter, winter holidays and Black Friday event,

Sameday Courier estimates a turnover of EUR 2-2.5 million for this year and a double-digit profit rate.

Sameday Courier, which was founded in 2007 by Romanian entrepreneur Octavian Badescu, is the only Romanian company specialized on same-day deliveries, both locally and internationally.
