Romanian online flower shop gets original delivery requests: 350 roses, EUR 1,000 sun flower and garlic bouquet

An online flower shop in Romania receives strange flower delivery requests from clients, and sometimes the flower bill can go as high as EUR 1,000.

The most original request so far was sending a rose bouquet daily for 14 days to the same person, according to FlorideLux.ro. “The number of flowers in the bouquet and the color of the roses were a clue about the sender,” said Marius Dosinescu, CEO of Floridelux group (in picture, below).

Another unexpected delivery was a bouquet made of sun flower and garlic (allium), delivered in Cluj and which cost EUR 1,000.

The online flower delivery business also had a client who ordered a one meter tall bear made of flowers, a 1.7 meters tree also made of flowers, as well as 350 roses in a single bouquet.

The most unusual request was however for a black rose. “We had to deliver a special transport by 9 PM in Pitetsi, after a young lady told several men who wanted a date with her, that the first one who will bring her a black rose by that hour will accompany her at a wedding. Our clients apparently wanted it so much, asked for our help and got the date,” said Dosinescu.

While most of those who send flowers reveal their identity, around 8 to 12 percent of the orders are anonymous.

Floridelux.ro, created in 2003, is part of the Romanian e-commece group which also includes www.deluxeflowershop.com, www.coroane.ro, www.gradinidelux.ro, www.florarie-flori.com, www.brazidecraciun.ro, www.decoratiunidecraciun.ro, www.brazi.ro, www.braziartificiali.ro, www.braziinghiveci.ro.
