Romanian company Romsys opens door to international expansion via agreed services supplier contract with NATO

31 July 2013

Romanian IT services supplier Romsys, part of the Austrian holding New Frontier Group, has recently been named agreed supplier of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and recently signed a basic ordering agreement. This allows Romsys to supply, when required, IT services for all states, organizations and institutions within NATO. This opens up commercial opportunities for Romsys in all NATO member states, said Razvan Olteanu, Deputy CEO Romsys (in picture, right, together with Philip Chulick,  Principal Contracting Officer within NATO, left).

The recently signed contract established the services which can be supplied, the terms, as well as the prices of the supplied services. The signed agreement will be sent to NATO members, which can then request further details or even start the acquisition procedures, should they need.

In Romania, Romsys has worked on IT projects in the defense area, with over 15 large projects with the defense and Interior Ministries. The company was created in 1993 by Romanian investor Marius Cojanu, and was taken over in 2007 by Austrian New Frontier Holding
