Romanian becomes HR manager of German group Kaufland

Patricia Dragan, who served as the CFO of the German retailer Kaufland Romania in the last years, will lead the human resources department of the entire German group, which has about 130,000 employees in seven countries.

Dragan will take up her new position in the next period, following several months of preparations in Germany, according to sources close to the company, cited by local Ziarul Financiar.

Patricia Dragan becomes one of the German group's key people, along with Adrian Viman, who has led Kaufland Romania since 2007, and who will take over the Kaufland management operations in Germany this spring. Viman will run a company with 700 stores and EUR 13.4 billion turnover last year.

Kaulfand Romania is the country's largest retailer, with 102 stores and an estimatd EUR 1.9 billion in sales, in 2014.
