Romanian airline Tarom expects EUR 1.8 mln loss
Romanian state–controlled airline Tarom could post a loss of EUR 1.8 million at the end of the year, according to the Transport Ministry’s draft budget.
The company’s total revenues are estimated at about EUR 343 million, whereas expenditures would stay at some EUR 345 million.
Staff costs are set at some EUR 47 million, EUR 29.7 million of which are salary expenses. The draft budget includes 2,083 employees for end-2015, with an average monthly salary of EUR 1,200.
The company has allocated some EUR 2.9 million for compensatory payments to those who will retire.
Tarom’s investments should reach some EUR 20.7 million this year, according to the budget.
