10 October 2014

Renault Commercial Roumanie has won two tenders to deliver cars to two important state institutions, the Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF) and the Interior Ministry, according to Hotnews.ro.

The company will deliver EUR 26.5 million worth of cars for ANAF, and some EUR 5 million worth of Dacia Duster cars for the Interior Ministry. Renault Commercial Roumanie was the sole bidder in ANAF’s public tender, and will deliver around 1,600 cars equipped with beacons and sirens.

The Interior Minister will get 450 Dacia Duster cars by the end of November. These cars will be used for intervention and patrol operations, and will help renew the Ministry’s outdated car park. The Ministry allotted a total budget of EUR 31 million for car acquisitions, and the remaining EUR 26 million will be spent in 2015. The tender for 2,800 cars has already started, with offers set to open on October 28.
