Oil company Petrom will organize a 4 km running race from Piata Constitutiei in Bucharest, on September 26, from 11,00 hours. This project, the Petrom Running Competition, began in 2006 and for each runner, one more meter of bicycle lanes is being built in Bucharest. Until now, 4.200 meters of the bike tracks were built in the capital city due to this plan.

This year, the competition will also offer other types of sport activities, such as climbing, table tennis, basketball, among others.

Those who would like to run the four kilometers from Piata Constitutiei further on Bd. Libertatii, Calea 13 Septembrie, Str. Izvor and Bd. Natiunile Unite back to the start point can sign up on the competition day from 8:00 to 10:30.

There will be two juniors subcategories, three senior subcategories and one category for elders (over 60).
