Persian Gulf companies want to invest in Romania in maritime and river transport infrastructure, as well as in agriculture and energy projects, said Mihai Daraban, president of Romania’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, quoted by Agerpres.

Daraban recently visited Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, together with the Economy Minister Mihai Tudose, Agriculture Minister Daniel Constantin and representatives of the business environment in Romania.

The trade mission aimed to establish first contacts with representatives of the business environment in the region, added Daraban.
