More Romanians choose to install intelligent control systems in their homes, which allow them to be aware of what’s happening in the house or make certain changes through their smartphones, according to German DIY retailer Hornbach.

Romanians search for these solutions as they try to protect their goods and avoid accidents.

The new control systems for electrical circuits are among the most sought-after products, said Mugurel - Horia Rusu, general manager with Hornbach Romania.

They can be connected to any smartphone and allow users to turn on or off the light in the house through a special application. The price for such a product starts from EUR 78.
