Mihai Craciun, former head of Red Bull Romania, is the new general manager of confectionery company Kandia in Romania. Craciun had been working with Red Bull for the last six years in Romania and was also coordinating the Bulgarian and Moldavian businesses.

Kraft Foods sold mid-last year the Romanian confectionery business Cadbury- Kandia to an investment fund controlled by Meinl, which was the original seller of the confectionery business. Kraft Foods had bought Cadbury for GBP 11.9 billion in January 2010. Cadbury had bought in local Kandia Excelent in 2007 from Axis Investments and Meinl Bank in a deal worth EUR 99.4 million Kraft Foods is selling various products in Romania, among which Poiana, Milka and Toblerone chocolate bars and Jacobs and Nova Brasilia coffee brands.
