MedLife wants to list on the Bucharest Stock Exchange

Private healthcare operator MedLife wants to list its shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in the next 6 months, said Mihai Marcu, MedLife president, cited by local Wall-street.ro.

The company does not rule out expanding to other countries, but in the next two years it plans to focus on Romania. It wants to strengthen the business in the center of the country, by opening a new clinic in Cluj-Napoca and expanding to Timisoara.

On may 28, MedLife opened a new clinic in the south of Bucharest, in the Berceni area, following a EUR 1.2 million investment. The clinic covers a 800 sqm area and has 18 units of neurology, imagery, cardiology and ultrasound. It also has a 5D ultrasound that can be connected to a smartphone.
