Medical service provider Affidea Romania took over the Phoenix imaging centers in Cluj-Napoca, Piatra Neamt, Deva, and Medias. The four imaging centers have over 17,000 patients per year. Affidea has thus reached 18 centers in Romania.

In July this year, the company took over three Samed clinics in the Oltenia region, southwestern Romania. The deal’s value was estimated at EUR 6.7 million, according to market specialists. The medical service provider announced the same month the opening of an imaging center in the Floreasca Polyclinic in Bucharest, with a EUR 1.5 million investment, following a deal with private healthcare operator Regina Maria.

Affidea Romania is part of the Affidea Group, one of the largest EU medical service provider specializing in diagnostics investigations, clinical laboratories, and cancer treatment.
