ManpowerGroup Romania makes higher revenues from HR services

02 June 2015

Human resources company ManpowerGroup Romania reached a turnover of EUR 47 million, in 2014, 10% higher than in the previous year. This has been the company’s best performance in 12 years since it has been operating on the Romanian market, according to its representatives.

The company’s gross profit went up to EUR 3.6 million, which was also a record.

ManpowerGroup is one of the leaders in the Romanian human resources market. The company has an average of 4,300 employees who do temporary work for businesses in Romania. However, the company’s representatives said that the revenue increase came mostly from recruiting permanent employees for companies, as well as getting new clients from various industries.

“The results we had last year are largely according to our development plans, but they could have been even better if most of the challenges in 2014 didn’t come from administrative issues due to changes in regulations,” said Valentin Petrof, general manager of ManpowerGroup Romania.

Starting 2014, ManpowerGroup has been operating in Romania via two companies, Manpower Romania and Manpower HR. The group has 13 recruiting agencies in Romania and serves over 350 companies.
