05 July 2013

Britanica Learning Center, a local provider of linguistic services to national and multinational companies, recently opened a new center in Bucharest, following an investment of EUR 25,000, according to the company.

The new center, located in Iancului area in Bucharest, offers language courses for both adults and children, but also other special classes for children. “In Iancului center we offer, in addition to the language classes for children and adults, spaces dedicated to children where they can take lessons of ballet, dance and aikido and where we also organize creative workshops for them,” said Carmen Olariu, founder of Britanica Learning Center.

Moreover, this autumn, the company also intends to open in the new center an afterschool with intensive English and German, a library and a multimedia room.

Britanica trains over 2,000 students annually and the center’s trainers gather around 200,000 teaching hours per student.

With the opening of the new center, the company also estimates an increase in the number of trainers. Britanica Learning Center currently has an administrative team of 15 people, a total of 36 trainers in Bucharest who teach in the corporate field, 22 trainers teaching children and some 100 collaborators across the country.

Earlier this year, Bell Bucharest rebranded as Britanica Learning Center. This decision to change the name came after the company’s partner in the UK – Bell Worldwide – decided to close its operations in Europe and focus more on Asia and the Middle East.
