Heineken to get EUR 41 million in dividends from Romanian operations

Beer producer Heineken group will cash in some EUR 41 million in dividends from Romania for the 2012 financial year, according to a recent shareholders' decision. The approved dividend per share was of RON 1.49, and it will be distributed in the next six months.

Heineken Romania ended 2012 with a turnover of EUR 266 million, an increase of 13.2 percent on the year before.

“Key strategic national brands Ciuc Premium, Bucegi, as well as the global brand Heineken, all grew in volume and value in double digits,” said Onno Rombouts, Managing Director Heineken Romania.

Heineken has four breweries in Romania in Miercurea Ciuc, Constanta, Craiova and Targu Mures, and 1,100 employees.
