GTC invests EUR 1 mln in amusement park within Romanian shopping mall

Real estate developer GTC Romania invested EUR 1 million in the opening of the Amusement Park in Galleria Arad shopping mall in Romania. Covering an area of 1,500 sqm, this is the biggest entertainment area in a shopping center at a regional level, the company announced.

Most of the new amusement park will be managed by Britta, the same company that manages the similar area in AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping mall in Bucharest.

Included in this amusement park is RoboLand, which offers a full range of entertaining and relaxation options, including an area for video games, spinning cars, trampolines, bumper cars and mini-bowling. A Laser Tag Arena and a large toboggan will also be opened soon in the amusement park, according to the company.

Galleria Arad has a rental area of 32,500 sqm, the most important anchors being Cora, Inditex group – which comprises Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius and Pull & Bear clothing retailers, Cinema City, Flanco, Intersport and Adidas.

GTC Romania owns the 45,000 sqm City Gate office project and also developed three shopping centers under the brand Galleria, in Arad, Buzau and Piatra Neamt. It also developed two residential projects, namely FeliCity and Rose Garden, both located in Bucharest. GTC Romania was founded in 1999 and is part of Polish GTC Group.
