French writer Jérôme Ferrari, winner of the 2012 Prix Goncourt, meets Romanian readers this January

French writer Jérôme Ferrari, winner of the 2012 Prix Goncourt, will meet with Romanian readers on January 13 at the Humanitas Library located near Cismigiu Park in Bucharest.

During the event, the writer will present his book Le Sermon sur la chute de Rome  (The Sermon on the Fall of Rome), which won the Prix Goncourt in 2012. The author and Romanian actress Medeea Marinescu will read fragments from the novel in both Romanian and French.

Academics, representatives of the private francophone sector, students, diplomats, artists and journalists will attend this cultural event, reports local Mediafax.

After the Bucharest event, the French writer will head to Brasov mountain resort in central Romania, where he will attend an event organized by the Francophone University Agency.
