Alina Bratu, the former corporate affairs manager and senior brand manager with URBB, the producer of Tuborg beer in Romania, has moved to the helm of communication for media company ProTV.

Bratu started in the new position on June 1. She has in charge with communication for Tuborg in Romania for the last 13 years.

Bratu specializes in public relations and management, and holds a Masters degree in communication and public relations, as well as an EMBA from the WU Executive Academy in Vienna. Her full CV is here.

She takes over the helm of TV station ProTV's communication after the TV station has faced some negative press as it reorganized its activity and axes staff, in a move to reduce loss.

Alina Bratu will be part of a team coordinated by Lucia Antal and will develop communication strategies and public relations activities for ProTV and for the other brands owned by Central Media Enterprises in Romania.
