Five Romanian technology projects raise USD 280,000 on crowdfunding platforms in 2014

Five Romanian technology projects received funding this year on American crowdfunding platforms such as kickstrater.com or indiegogo.com, reports local Ziarul Financiar. They raised some USD 280,000 in total.

The largest amount, of USD 95,000, was obtained on kickstarter.com by Progress: Evolution of Technology project, a board game developed by NSKN Games. The company was founded in 2011 by Romanians Andrei Novac, Florin Neacsu and Vlad Sladariu.

Tintag, a rechargeable device for locating lost objects developed by Romanian entrepreneurs Andrei Vig and Alexandru Chis, obtained total funds of some USD 79,000 on indiegogo.com.

Three other Romanian technology projects raised some USD 105,000 on kickstarter.com this year, namely Altergaze – glasses that, via the smartphone, projects the user in a 3D virtual reality experience, Black the Fall – a game for PCs and mobile devices and a Romanian campaign launched to develop local brand watches Peren.
