Energy companies invest EUR 20 mln in solar parks in Romania

Local energy company Armand Group and British firm Greentech will invest EUR 20 million in 20 MW solar projects in Romania.

The two companies have signed an agreement to finance and develop several photovoltaic projects with capacities below 500 KW. They will develop the 20 MW solar projects by the end of 2016.

The projects will benefit from the new Feed-in Tariff, which should be applied in Romania starting this year.

Armand Group was founded in Timisoara, in 2009, and is controlled by local investor Armand Domuta.
