Telecom operator Romtelecom has launched an online portal for the leasing space within its real estate assets across Romania. The website offers over 150 such spaces to lease, from offices top warehouses.

BT Asset Management, part of Banca Transilvania group, has launched the licensing procedure of the BT Index Austria ATX, a passively managed fund on the ATX, the Austrian Traded Index.

The number of malware threats doubled in Romania in the first half of the year compared to the same period of last year, according to BitDefender, the Romanian security solution producer. “The majority of the informatic threats which affected Romanian users in the first half of the year were malware applications which run internationally,” the company has said.

EGL Gas & Power Romania will buy wind energy from EDP Renewables Romania's wind park in Pestera, in Constanta county. The project is still under construction and should be functional by the end of this year. The wind farm project has a capacity of 90 MW.
