Cultural Institute launches English-language Romanian literary review for worldwide audiences

andrei marga babes bolyaiRomania's Cultural Institute (ICR) is to launch a new English language monthly literary review focusing on Romanian literature. The first edition of the monthly magazine, called Romanian Book Review, will be launched at the ICR headquarters in Bucharest on Tuesday, February 19.

The review aims to raise the profile of all types of Romanian literature on the international markets, including both the general public and members of the industry – publishers, editors and translators, according to the ICR.

The first issue will have 12 full color pages and be distributed free of charge by the ICR offices around the world. ICR President Andrei Marga (in picture) has written an editorial to introduce the first copy of Romanian Book Review.

The launch on Tuesday is at the ICR offices in Bucharest, 38 Aleea Alexandru, starting at 13:00 local time.
