Electric cars, drones and robots at the Bucharest Technology Week in late May

Tech enthusiasts will have one week to take a look into the newest gadgets and devices, and attend conferences and small meet-ups during the Bucharest Technology Week to be organized between May 23 and May 29.

The event’s exhibition will feature electric and hybrid cars, drones, and robots as well as gadgets and devices. The exhibitors’ list includes Noah - a luxury brand that designs and creates innovative wood watches, E-Motion electric - the first Romanian company dedicated 100% to e-mobility, Evo Robotics – a team of passionate engineers that conceptualize and develop Robot-Sumo meant for dedicated competitions, Smart Bill, Tesla, Uber, 3DSelfie.ro, and IT company Endava.

The visitors can also test the solar charging tree VTree, the 3D Printed Open Source RC Car - a car radio controlled made entirely by a 3D Printer, the Pocket Quadcopter – one of the smallest drones in the world, the 3Dooler – the world’s best 3D printing pen, and humanoid robot GIGI the 3.

More than 30 international speakers will be present at the event, for four thematic conferences to be held at the Athenee Palace Hilton. For example, The Innovation Summit, which will be organized on May 24, will bring together speakers with experience in various domains, from music to Formula 1. The lineup includes Dr. Geoff McGrath – Chief Innovation Officer at McLaren Applied Technologies and Kelly Snook – Co-Director al Mi.Mu Gloves, a high performance instrument for making music with gesture.

The next conferences will be organized on May 25 – Brands + Tech Summit, May 26 – Enterprise + IT Summit, and May 27 – Java Dev Summit.
