BRD owner has 1,000 employees in Bucharest service center
Societe Generale European Business Services, a company owned by the French financial group Societe Generale, has reached the threshold of 1,000 employees in its service center in Bucharest, reports local Profit.ro.
The company provides services in areas such as finance, procurement, human resources, KYC (Know Your Customers), as well as IT services for the Societe Generale group.
Its service center in Bucharest is among the top ten largest service centers in Romania.
Societe Generale European Business Services was founded in 2011 and has seen an average 50% increase year-on-year. About a third of the center’s employees are responsible for the financial services area, 20% for HR services and shared services, while more than 30% are specialized in IT services.
Societe Generale also owns BRD, the third largest bank in Romania asset-wise.
