Romania is Adobe’s largest R&D center in Europe

Adobe Romania, the local subsidiary of the US software producer Adobe, has become the group’s largest R&D center in Europe.

The company plans to increase its turnover by over 8% this year to RON 130 million (EUR 28.3 million), according to the Romanian subsidiary’s representatives, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

Adobe recorded a turnover of almost RON 65 million (EUR 14.1 million) in Romania in the first six months of this year, up 12% year-on-year, said Cris Radu, Adobe Romania director of engineering and site leader.

Radu took over the leadership of Adobe’s local subsidiary in June last year, replacing Alexandru Costin. The former manager currently holds a leading position at Adobe's headquarters in the US.
