Winter sports: First Freeride Challenge in Romania, coming up this year
Winter sports lovers in Romania will get a change to test their limits and compete in the Freeride Challenge Tour 2012, the first freeride competition that takes place in Romania, which will be organized this winter.
The competition will be organized in two phases and a final. The first stage will take place between February 3 to February 5, 2012, on the Borsa - Gargalau Peak route, while the second one will take place between February 24 to 26 on the Sinaia - Valea lui Carp route. The final will be organized between April 27-29 at Balea Lac.
The event’s individual competitions will be held on four categories - ski men, ski women, snowboard men and snowboard women. Find more information here.
