In the past months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to make your membership experience on Romania-Insider.com even smoother. We changed the software that provides membership access to Romania-Insider.com premium content and your member account.
What does this mean for you? Below we highlight the most important information and what you need to do to continue reading Romania-Insider.com as a member and here a full account of our updated terms of service.
First, you have to set a password for your account. In short, we moved from our previous provider, Piano Inc, to Pigeon (Sabramedia LLC) and we migrated all member accounts with an automated password allocated, so now you need to set a password of your choice to access your account and login.
Here’s how to reset your password:
- Either follow the link received via email from us with the subject: “Important update about your Romania Insider Membership”
- Or go to this page, click Forgot my Password, add the email address you used when you signed up for a Romania-Insider.com membership, and click Reset Password. You will receive an email with a password reset link. After adding your new password, you can use it to login your account (If you can’t remember which email you used – email us at community@romania-insider.com and we will help).
You can login into your Romania-Insider.com member account here, or by clicking the Login button either from the top right corner of the site for desktop, from above the menu on mobile or from any locked article.
Your payment information was migrated via our Payment processor, Stripe, so unless your previous payment method is not available or is expiring, you don’t need to change anything in this regard. If you wish your subscription not to renew automatically after the current term, you can cancel it from your user account.
You can check this information in My Account (here, or from the My Account button on the top right corner for desktop and for mobile) under Subscription Details, where you also have the option to manage your subscription.
In My account, you also have the Account settings section, where you can change your invoicing address, email or password.
If your membership includes guest accounts, you can see and manage your invited guests by clicking on the Manage members link in the Account settings area.
What stays the same for you:
- We kept all the membership subscriptions in our previous offers as legacy subscriptions: you can continue and renew your membership for the same price you paid, for as long as you want, with the same benefits you now have.
- For the memberships that included additional users you can continue to share your membership at no extra charge; this is a legacy feature which we currently don’t offer to new members via our new membership plans.
- You have access to all our premium, locked articles.
- When logged in as a member, you enjoy a banner – free reading experience.
- Invoicing and support requests continue to be handled directly by us, if you want your renewal to be invoiced on a company, or have any technical issues, kindly email us at community@romania-insider.com.
