Vodafone Romania will launch the iPhone 4 on December 17, the company has announced. Vodafone is the second telecom operator in Romania to launch the newest iPhone, after Orange brough the telephone on the local market towards the end of September.

The phone will be available in the company's store and on its online store. More details about the phone and its price, once available, to be updated here.

Telecom operator Cosmote Romania has also announced it would bring the iPhone 4 to Romania in the following period, without mentioning the exact date of the launch. Cosmote is the third operator on the Romanian market to announce it will sell the iPhone 4 locally, after Orange Romania and Vodafone Romania. Orange actually launched the iPhone 4 in Romania on September 24.

The iPhone 4 is enabled with video calling with FaceTime and comes with a high-resolution display, HD video recording, a 5-megapixel camera, Apple A4 processor and more. Read more about the iPhone 4 on the Apple website here.

UPDATE: Telecom operator Cosmote has also announced it would launch the iPhone 4 terminal in Romania on December 17.
