Two men from a village in Romania managed to pull a ridiculous heist. The two wanted to steal some wine from a neighbor but had to return twice to the crime scene, because they broke the first two wine demijohns they stole. Needless to say, they were drunk and the police caught them soon after.

The events took place during the night of January 6-7 (between the Epiphany Day and Saint John’s), according to a police report quoted by Agerpres.

The two robbers went to their target’s house after midnight and beat the owner leaving him unconscious (apparently he was also drunk and only woke up the next day). Then, they took a 25-liter wine demijohn, which they wanted to take to a friend’s house to continue the party. However, they broke the glass container on the way and decided to return for another one.

The second time, they decided to take a 50-liter wine container, but again failed to take the spoils to their planned hideout. Thus, they decided to go to the victim’s house for the third time. They took another 50-liter wine demijohn and managed to finish their quest.

The police have started an investigation and has asked the court to approve an arrest warrant on the two robbers.
