Romania’s Andreea Chitu and Corina Caprioriu won two gold medals for Romania at the Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, each in her category.

Romanian judoka Andreea Chitu won the gold medal in the 52 kg category after defeating Mongolian Tsolmon Adiyasmbuu, while Corina Caprioriu won the final in the 57 kg category against Israeli Camila Minakawa.

The judo Grand Prix takes place between October 16 and October 18 in Tashkent. Its prizes total USD 100,000.
