24 March 2016

The common objective of Turkey and Romania is to reach an annual bilateral trade of USD 10 billion in the next years, according to Romania’s president Klaus Iohannis.

Turkey is Romania’s biggest commercial partner outside the European Union and its fifth partner at global level.

The two countries already have a successful economic collaboration, Iohannis added. However, they also plan to expand both the commercial trade and investments.

Iohannis held yesterday a joint press conference with the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Turkey.
