The third concert of the British Composition Season will be organized on February 23, 2012, at the “Tinerimea Romana” National Art Centre (19 Gutenberg Johann St.) in Bucharest, from 19:00. This event will bring together a selection of pieces for various instruments, such as woodwind, strings, piano, and percussion.

The ‘Archaeus’ ensemble – conducted by Liviu Danceanu – will perform the compositions. The event will last around 70 minutes and entrance is free.

The series of concerts is run by the  British Council to promote British composers in Romania. In 2010, the event featured music by 31 British composers. Read more about it here.
