Study: Romania ranks 13th among best destinations for services
Romania ranks 13th globally among the best investment destinations in the services area, according to the study „Global services location index 2016“ made by management consultancy company A.T. Kearney.
The country has moved up 5 positions compared to 2014.
Asian countries such as India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines rank first.
In Europe, only two countries are better ranked than Romania. Poland ranks 10th whereas Bulgaria is on the 12th place, down 4 positions compared to 2014.
About 80,000 people work in the services area in Romania, according to the Association of Business Service Leaders in Romania. However, the growth potential for the next 3-5 years is up to 150,000 employees.
