Bucharest will host a tourism fair this week-end: hotel owners and travel agencies will present with special offers and discounts of up to 50%. The event will take place between March 12 and March 15 at Romexpo.

A total of 260 companies will advertise their offers to the fair, on some 11,000 sqm, according to Catalin Trifu, general manager of Romexpo. One third of the companies will come from abroad, representing 14 countries.

“There will be discounts of 10-30%, but can go up to 50% in some cases,” said Trifu, cited by local Mediafax.

The entry fee will be RON 5 (some EUR 1.1), cheaper than last year’s, he added. The fair will stay open from Thursday to Saturday between 10:00 and 18:00 and on Sundays between 10:00 and 16:00.

The organizers expect 25,000 visitors at the fair, 5,000 more compared to last year’s edition.
