Romania managed to spend the entire amount of EUR 253 million allocated through the wine program by 2013, and for 2014-2018 another EUR 238.5 million are available for this program, said Deputy Prime Minister and Agriculture Minister Daniel Constantin.

“The wine program is a pride for us because, through the EUR 253 million spent entirely by 2013, 25,000 hectares of newly established plantations were achieved, as well as programs to promote the wines in China, Russia, Japan and the US. Other EUR 238.5 million are available for 2014-2018,” said Constantin, cited by local Agerpres.

Organic farming “is another pride of Romania”, because organic and traditional products can honor the country at any time on all markets, said the Agriculture Minister.
