Romania’s candidate for a European Commissioner seat, Corina Cretu, who was already interviewed by the European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker and included on the official list of commissioners, will also be heard by the Romanian Parliament next week.

Juncker is expected to announce the Commissioners and their portfolios on Wednesday this week. Cretu will thus be heard at home the following week after the official announcement, according to Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
