17 July 2014

Romanian tennis player Victor Hanescu says that Romanian male tennis needs an urgent reshuffle and that he is working on a new project to facilitate the generation change.

Hanescu together with the Romanian Tennis Federation and Dr. Oetker Romania will launch the Young  Dream Team for Romania program, which will select six of the best Romanian tennis players ages 16 to 18 and train them. They will participate in four training stages each year, with each stage taking 10 to 14 days. Hanescu will be part of the training team.

“I always wanted to give away part of my winnings and to help Romanian tennis because not anyone can afford this sport. We must work more on developing our youth,” said Hanescu.
