Raiffeisen Bank, one of the top five lenders in Romania, will pay dividends worth EUR 136 million (RON 606 million) to its shareholders. Austrian group Raiffeisen Bank International controls the Romanian bank.

Raiffeisen Bank had a consolidated net profit of EUR 115 million last year, up by 5% compared to the previous year. Some of the dividends will come from the profits made in previous years.

The bank’s shareholders also approved EUR 22.3 million investments for this year, up by a third compared to 2014.

Raiffeisen Bank had total assets of EUR 6.42 billion at the end of 2014, 9% higher than at end-2013.
