Romania's President undergoes shoulder surgery
Romania's President Klaus Iohannis was admitted to the Dr. Carol Davila Military Emergency Hospital, where he had surgery on his right shoulder, on Tuesday, April 26.
According to a statement of the Romanian Presidency, the President’s health condition is good, Iohannis being medically fit to perform his duties.
Klaus Iohannis also confirmed the information in a Facebook post: “I’ve had a surgery on the right shoulder today. The intervention was a success, I feel good, and I will return to work tomorrow.”
The President had a meeting scheduled with Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos on Tuesday morning, which was postponed by mutual agreement. The meeting should take place on Wednesday afternoon.
